Errors - “Pleasure Palaces”
Every time I listen to Errors it’s a bittersweet thing. The tunes they make enliven my insides yet it still saddens me to think about missing them open for their friends and label bosses Mogwai at Webster Hall due to visa issues last April. *Enter usual plea to come play New York City ASAP* After what feels forever, their upcoming album Have Some Faith in Magic is finally dropping later this month on Rock Action and I’m all kinds of excited. “Earthscore” was a fantastic preview of what was to come. Now, “Pleasure Palaces” seals the deal: this album will be a 2012 fave. The track is like New Order and Telefon Tel Aviv got together with these dudes and made a baby, the video is a colorful amalgamation of computer technology history/possibly future. Enjoy. I do say, enjoy! —Cheep

Mogwai - Too Raging to Cheers
It was awesome to feel so present and calm walking around the midtown NYC hustle and bustle on this chilly sunny day while listening to this song. —Cheep

Nothing like a haunting music video that leaves you completely and totally blue-balled to accompany a new Mogwai song.
Exactly.
